RPD Series: COVID-19 Updates Now A Norm

Fourth in a 2022 Commitment*

One of the first promotions posted to the Relevance Project Revenue Resource was a three-part series headlined “All Together Now. ” It offered sales calling cards to use with advertisers reopening after the 2020 and 2021 shutdowns caused by COVID-19. It’s telling, though, that each time I later considered removing the series as “outdated,” I wound up, instead, updating it for yet another new year. See the 2022 version below. (Thanks to Metro Creative Graphics for the assistance.) COVID is now a sustainable obstacle, for sure. The Relevant assignment: Update to WOW. Our responses to COVID issues cannot be wallpaper. Think bold. Move it. Commit to even stronger news coverage that addresses citizens’ frustrations and uncertainty as well as sharpen how you can help struggling advertisers keep ringing up sales. Innovate approaches. And this: Continue to maintain a safety first mentality. Never get tired of encouraging it. Stay healthy, by all means. All Together Now.
